About Us
The founding partners and Executive staff of CAN-AM Cryoservices include our Medical Director and specialists in the field of human reproductive biology and technology.
Their expertise and affiliation with American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS), European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the International Federation of Fertility Societies offer health care professionals and their patients a level of service of the highest possible standard.
CAN-AM Cryoservices is a registered Canadian distributor for Xytex International Sperm Bank, Fairfax Cryobank and Cryogenic Laboratories (CLI), among largest and most respected sperm banking facilities in the world.
All Donor sperm distributed by CAN-AM meets or exceeds standards established by Health Canada. Additional genetic and infectious disease testing may also be performed, using state-of-the-art techniques.
CAN-AM Cryoservices offers long-term and short-term storage for cryopreserved sperm, eggs and embryos.
Sperm freezing (cryopreservation) is performed at our Hamilton laboratory. Clients may visit our lab to cryopreserve their sperm, or may use our PreServe Sperm Transport Kit to collect and ship their sperm from anywhere in Canada.
Our Facilities
Our facilities—located near Highway 403 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada—are conveniently located with ample free parking. The centre offers welcoming and comfortable space for clients and a specialized laboratory.
To complement our services the Hamilton Assisted Reproductive Technologies (HART) Centre is located in the same building. In addition, our strategic partnerships give us further access to state-of-the-art equipment and genetic testing that is unique in Canada.
